Bloodied but Unbowed

Bus Carnage Posted by Picasa

Our love, prayers and practical support must now go out to all the victims of the bomb outrages in London today. The resilience and professionalism of the emergency services and the courage of all those caught up in these incidents is sobering and inspirational. Certainly many peoples' lives have been devastated by this mindless violence but we shall stand and prevail against the forces of evil. In so doing we shall relentessly persevere with our brothers and sisters in many affected nations who have their own battles to wage against the forces of terror.

Let's remember why terrorism happens ... to promote in those terrorised the following:-

(1) Confusion, chaos, economic destabilisation
(2) Fear, panic and dread
(3) Anger, lashing out, irrationality

The aim of course is to weaken the "enemy," to disorientate, to expose weak points for a later assault. This is a VERY long term game. If we don't smash the networks via intel as and when we find them (whoever they belong to or act on behalf of) and if we don't address their propaganda points, (Iraq, Palestine etc.) then they will proliferate and continue to push forward their agenda.

The best weapons we have against terror are normality and trust in God. Terror always fails when the fear is resisted and prayerful intelligent resilience confronts every horror with unflinching eye. Londoners have often proved in times past that they are made of "stern stuff" and that solidarity in affliction is unbeatable. This is the costly lesson that these despicable terrorists will now learn.

May God have mercy on us all. May he protect us under the shadow of his wings and in his unfailing love may we all abide. Amen.

I was moved by your posting today - in the midst of such a disaster, it is so difficult to attain perspective and understand the impacts on innocent lives, and on our society. Best wishes, and thank you for your faith.

Thank you, my friend. The good sense and spiritual wisdom of your post (to which I'm making reference on the other blog) was a blessing which brought good out of the wreckage.

God grant us peace.

Thank you Father, for the good reminder that "Terror always fails when the fear is resisted and prayerful intelligent resilience confronts every horror with unflinching eye." I had forgotten this yesterday. The reminder is helpful today. I shall be linking this on my blog.

The attacks of September 11 occured on the day of the Beheading of St. John the Forerunner and Baptist (August 29, according to the Julian Church calendar). The attacks of July 7 (June 24) occured on the Nativity of St. John the Forerunner and Baptist. He still preaches repentance and watchfulness.

This is correct as we can see how those Eastern Orthodox Russians terrorists are massacring the innocent Chechens who resist occupation of their lands and destruction of their culture.

The Orthodox Christian Russian regime are no different from Jewish Israeli regime as both are occupying powers--the former occupies Chechnya, while the latter occupies Palestine.

Russia is an Orthodox theocracy and a super power with 'veto' that abuses its United Nations 'veto' to prevent human rights watch dogs from bringing the Patriarch of Moscow, Aleksy II to trial for crimes against humanity, including genocide against Chechens as part of a sistematic campaign by the Orthodox Church to annex Chechnya.

If Christian Zionism is a heresy, then the Eastern Orthodox Church is the worst heresy ever as it is an RACIST NAZI CHURCH.

Yes, we all know terrorism its a long term game. This is why the Russian Orthodox Church, a terrorist organisation no different from Al-Qaeda is using terrorism (such as aeriel bombadment) to massacre Chechens so they can continue to occupy a sovereign nation.

I call all Chechens to resist this terrorist organisation, Russian Orthodox Church, in the same way, Palestinians are resisting Israel.

If Christian Zionism is a heresy, the the Russian Orthodox Church is the worst heresy, a criminal terrorist organisation led by a mad man Aleksy II, Patriarch of Moscow.

Its amazing Fr. Gregory that you only say Iraq and Palestine are propaganda points for terrorists but NOT Chechnya which is a sovereign nation like Palestine occupied by a terrorist organisation, Russian Orthodox Church that wants to destroy the Chechens and Russify them!

You are a HYPOCRITE who is blinded by your anti-Semitic, anti-American, anti-British, and anti-Western racism. You can only condemn the situation in Palestine and Iraq because you hate the Christian West (both Catholic and Protestant) and Jews.

But I doubt you will ever condemn the Russian Orthodox Church occupation, colonism and genocide in Chechnya, or even the Serb Orthodox Church occupation, colonism, and genocide in Kosovo.

As a Christian, I certainly hate the Eastern "Orthodox" Church (which is hardly Orthodox but a schismatic and heretical body) and am quite sad to see many deluded fools who associate themselves with this EVIL and WICKED NAZI religion.

We Protestants will be launching a missionary campaign to convert members of this Eastern "Orthodox" Church from their evil ideology to Evangelicalism.
